What is Safiya Beauty?
Safiya is an EcoLuxe collection of earth-friendly body and bath products that are made of all-natural ingredients and adhere to the highest standard of luxuriousness and quality.

Can you describe the collection?
Safiya features a wide assortment of body butters, sugar and salt scrubs, soaps and signature “sugar cookie” bath bombs with prices ranging from $3-$22. Ingredients include pure honey, organic virgin coconut oil, green tea extract, moisturizing shea and cocoa butter, a tantalizing variety of essential oils, and natural fruit, floral and woodsy fragrances. All products are cruelty-, toxin- and paraben (artificial preservative)-free. Many products are certified vegan and organic.

Why was Safiya Beauty created?
Since she was a little girl owner Nailah Blades was enchanted by the look, feel and smell of upscale beauty products, but her sensitive skin reacted to the chemicals these products often relied on for their charm. She switched to all-natural beauty products, but soon missed the variety of fragrances and high level of indulgence found in traditional lines. After extensive field research, participation in focus groups and immersion in the eco-beauty community, Safiya Beauty was born. Blades’ extensive research is reflected in the final products—they are not only formidable in their quality and luxuriousness, but they cater to a wide variety of skin types as well.

How are you able to ensure that Safiya products are eco-friendly?
All Safiya products are packaged in plastic, glass or aluminum and can be recycled or reused. Outer packaging is made from 100% recycled material. Labels are made from decomposable, corn-based label films with recyclable adhesives and printed with soy-based inks. Our business cards, postcards and stationary are printed on 100% recycled fiber, 30% post consumer waste. Safiya is committed to providing an earth-friendly product and we welcome any suggestions to continue to achieve this goal

Safiya products are hand-made in the United States in accordance with all local and federal labor regulations.

Products are merchandised in attractive, glam-infused recyclable outer packaging while all body butters and scrubs are stored in durable (and recyclable) glass, plastic or aluminum containers.
